Written reports should be between two and ten pages in length, and oral presentations should be between five and fifteen minutes in length.

Reports on XML applications should include descriptions of the purpose of the application, of the major elements and attributes used in the application, and of common software packages that use the XML application. The accompanying presentation should include a simple example that shows how the XML application represents a typical object in the area the vocabulary describes.

Reports on XML-related technologies should include descriptions of their relation to XML, how they differ from other more standard XML-related technologies, and of tools available to use with the technology.
