Angel Abyss F.A.Q. frequently asked questions Why is the band called Angel Abyss? actually, we've recently been talking about changing the name. in the past it has stood for many things but usually it just leads people to think that we're a death metal band. so, for now, let's say that it has to do with dead fish and los angeles. Are you signed? no, at this time we are not a part of any record label independent or otherwise. we are, as they say, unsigned and undiscovered. Where are you from? we grew up together in an area of southern california called the inland empire. When will you put out an album? sometime either before or after we are all dead. What influences your music? we are inspired by the things that we hate. instead of copying a formula that the music industry likes to overuse we will go out of our way to change the equation. Who has been in the band besides the current members? chris cortez (drums 1996), t.j. grate (drums 1998), percy pinéda (bass 2k) When are you playing in my city/state? we are very dedicated to touring. we'd like to have a living drummer with us if possible but we will do whatever it takes to get out on the road. also, members of Angel Abyss have been seen performing on stage with other bands and this will undoubtedly happen again. we'll try to promote any live appearance, with Angel Abyss or otherwise, in the shows section. Why are there no vocals on your mp3s? they haven't been tracked yet. the majority of the songs we release on the internet are instrumental versions but we will be doing vocals soon. What happened to all the pics? there are new pics coming in 2k5. Who plays what instruments in the band? actually, we don't play any of the instruments ourselves. we've trained a small family of koala bears to play songs that we write. it was really difficult teaching them how to read sheet music. When will you have merch for sale? it depends on the demand. we are starting out very small. if you're interested please send us an email. I remember joining your mailing list but why haven't I received any recent email updates? a new mailing list was created as of 2003 because the old one was shut down. one day it was there and the other it was not, we lost everyone's email information. it was hosted my microsoft listbot which no longer exists. please join the new mailing list. Where's my old guestbook entry? our guestbook suffered the same fate as the mailing list so we made a new one. we're not sure when or why exactly the old guestbook disappeared but there were at least five years worth of signatures lost. right now it sits lifeless but we hope that some day it will return to us unharmed.
