NORTH RIVERSIDE -
John Edward Marr, 81,
North Riverside, Guysborough County,
died Friday in St.
Martha's Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Boylston, he was a son of the late
Lawrence and Annie (Purcell) Marr.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Church,
Guysborough Intervale. He is survived by
five stepdaughters: Annie (Mrs.
James MacPherson), North Grant;
Mrs. Maybel Fisher, Malignant Cove; Eunice,
Illinois; Joyce Gate, Winnipeg; Barbara (Mrs. Bernard DeCoste),
Port
Hawkesbury; two stepsons: Charlie Armsworthy,
North Grant; Douglas
Armsworthy, B.C.; a granddaughter;
and a sister, Margaret (Mrs. Edward
MacDonald), North Riverside.
He was predeceased by his wife, Maude
Armsworthy; a son, Lawrence; two stepsons,
Cyril and Cecil. The remains are
resting
in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will
be
at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in St. Patrick's Church, Guysborough Intervale.
Interment will be in parish cemetery.

Church repair fund.
