William E. Feltmate, 77, River John, formerly of Eight Island Lake,
Guysborough County, died Monday, May 25
in Sutherland - Harris Memorial Hospital, Pictou.
Born in Eight Island Lake, he was a son of
the late Elija and Charlotte (Smith) Feltmate.
He was a retired woodsman. He is survived by
a brother, Walter, Eight Island Lake; four sisters, Annie
(Mrs. Ernest MacDonald), Churchville, Pictou County; Sadie (Mrs. Leslie Pushie),
New Glasgow; Mabel (Mrs. Aughie Turner), Ontario; Christine (Mrs. Stephen Fenton),
Antigonish; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother,
Edward; two sisters in infancy. Funeral service will be held today (Wednesday)
at Goshen Gospel Church, Rev. W. Dueck officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery, Argyle.
