Bruce J. Smith, 62, of Crossroads Country Harbour, Guysborough County,
died
Saturday, Dec. 6, in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Halifax, he
was a son of Mrs. Claudine (Hudson) Smith
and the late Bruce Smith.
He was a
service station operator in the Antigonish area
for more than 30 years. He
was a member of
the Masonic Order, Stormont Lodge 96. Among the survivors are
a son, MacKay, Westville; two sisters, Myrna (Mrs Elmer MacPherson) and Wilma
(Mrs Hughie Gibson), both of New Glasgow; a brother, Arden, Westville.
Funeral was held 2 p.m. Tuesday in Zion United Church, Country Harbour,
David
Cleveland officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery.
