DROWNING ACCIDENT
On Monday, the 17th Newall Johnson, (Indian)
of Cook's Cove, was drowned when he dropped through
a thin coating of ice on the Salmon River.
He was twenty years old.
Richard Johnson father of the deceased
located the body on Wednesday about thirty feet
from where it went down.
The funeral took place at Guysboro on Thursday morning.
