HENDSBEE, Lillian Edna
88, Half Island Cove, died June 28,1999,
in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso.
Born in Half Island Cove, she was a daughter
of the late Silas and Esther Clara (Jones) Hendsbee.
In her younger years she lived in North Ogden,
Pictou, Ontario and then in Half Island Cove.
She was a member of the Half Island Cove Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters; Dorothy M. Lutz, Halifax;
Elsie (Mrs.Frank Richard), Half Island Cove;
10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren;
11 great-great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Roy W.;
daughter, Margaret; grandaughter, Edna;
grandson, Frank Joseph. Visitation will be held
2-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso.
Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday
in Half Island Cove Baptist Church.
Rev David Wheeler officiating.
Burial in the Union Cemetery, Queensport.
