FURLONG, Frank Lewis - 74,
Port Hillford, Guysborough County, died September 5, 1992,
in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Indian Harbour Lake, Guiysborough County,
he was a son of the late Edward and Carrie (Cornelly) Furlong.
He attended Calvary Faith Church, Sonora.
He served in the Royal Canadian Army during the Second World War
and was a retired heavy equipment operator with the
Department of Transportation as well as a retired lumberman.
He is survived by three daughters, Carol Lynne,
Quito, Equador; Elizabeth (Mrs. Raglar Niclasen),
Luzson Island, Phillipines; Luella (Mrs. John T. Enns),
Cochabamba, Bolivia; son, Peter, Plaster Rock, N.B;
three brothers, James, Port Hillford; Edwin, Sherbrooke;
Percy, Dunnville, Ont; nine grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former
Margaret Elizabeth Reid; two brothers, Bernard, Murray;
two sisters, Myra Sanford, Blanche Cruickshank.
The body is in Calvary Faith church,
where funeral will be 2 p.m. today, Pastor Michael Lynn
and Pastor Jeffrey Reason officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery, Indian Harbour Lake.
Donations may be mde to Gideon Bible Society or
Calvary Faith Church Building Fund.
Arrangements under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
