JORDAN, Edison - 77,
Jordanville, Guysborough County, died Thursday
in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke,
after a lengthy illness. Born in Jordanville,
he was a son of the late John and Lydia (MacDonald) Jordan.
He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Carmichael;
a son, Michael, three daughters, Jessie
(Mrs. Harold Webber), Sandra (Mrs. Asa Harpell),
and Linda (Mrs. Pat Morris), a brother, Eldon,
all of Jordanville; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by a son, Edison;
five brothers, Cecil, Archie, Hiram, Jackie and William;
four sisters, Lily, Mary, Alice and Audrey.
The body is in St. Thomas Anglican Church, Indian Harbour Lake,
with visiting 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. - noon Saturday,
where the funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday,
Rev. Gregory McMullin officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Rest Cemetery,
Indian Harbour Lake. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Sunset Rest Cemtery Fund or any charity.
