Eldon Giffin Jordan

JORDANVILLE - Eldon Giffin Jordan, 76,
of Jordanville, Guysborough County, died Saturday
in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Jordanville, he was a son of the
late John and Lydia (MacDonald) Jordan.
He was a retired painter and a member of
St. Thomas Anglican Church, Indian Harbour Lake.
He served in the Signal Corps during the Second World War.
He is survived by his wife, the former Edith Morrison;
two stepsons, Carl, Truro; Raymond, Stellarton.
He was predeceased by six brothers, William, Jackie, Edison,
Cecil, Hiram, Arch; four sisters,
Lilliam Brigley; Audrey Jordan; Alica Jordan; Mary Dunbar.
His remains are resting in St. Thomas Anglican Church,
with visiting from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today
and from where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Interment will be in Sunset Rest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to St. Tthomas Anglican Church, Sunset Rest Cemetery
or St. Mary's Memorial Hospital.
