Funeral for John Douglas Bennett, 53,
of Indian Harbour Lake, who died Jan. 2
in Victoria General Hospital, was held Jan. 4
in St. Thomas Anglican Church, Indian Harbour Lake,
with burial in Sunset Rest Cemetery, Indian Harbour Lake.
Born in Indian Harbour Lake, he was a son of
the late Thomas and Amy (Hollis) Bennett.
He was a member of Liscombe Legion branch #36
and IOOF Lodge Armistic #138, Moser River.
He was employed with the department of transportation, Sherbrooke.
Surviving are his wife, the former Elva Harnish; three sisters,
Mary (Mrs. Douglas Wood), Westville; Margaret (Mrs. Hiram Jordan),
Jordanville, and Minnie (Mrs. Frederick Horton), Port Bickerton;
two nieces and a nephew.
