MRS. ROBERT REID

PORT HILFORD, May 12 -
The death occurred Sunday morning April 29,
following an illness of only three weeks duration of
Elizabeth, wife of Captain Robert Reid.
The deceased was in her seventy-sixth year,
and leaves to mourn her loss, her husband,
four daughters, Hattie, Mrs. John R. Hurst, Port Hilford;
Mary, Mrs. Donald Johnson, Revelstoke, British Columbia;
Charlotte, Mrs. R.E. McConnell, Sydney; Mattie, Mrs. Frank Fleming,
Port Hilford; and one son, Havelock, at home; also sixteen
grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was a member
of the Port Hilford Baptist church. Funeral services were conducted
by the pastor, Rev. Herman McGrath. The hymns sang
were the favorite ones of the deceased,
"There is a land mine eye hath seen," Crossing the Bar," and "Siloam."
Interment was at Cherry Hill cemetery.
