Mrs. John R. Rudolph

Pictou - Sept. 8 -
The death of Mrs. John R. Rudolph, 89,
took place at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Wallace Turple, of Central Cariboo, Pictou County,
where she had resided for the past seven years.
She was the oldest resident of the community,
and had lived in Central Cariboo for the past thirty years,
coming here from Port Bickerton.
Her husband died in 1905.
She is survived by five sons and six daughters,
Herbert, Port Bickerton; Robert, Liscomb; John, Denmark;
James and Elijah, Pictou; Hannah (Mrs. Lewis Kaiser),
and Olive (Mrs. Judson Corkum), Port Bickerton; Bessie
(Mrs. Charles Heffler), Halifax; Sarah (Mrs. Hiram Shea), Pictou;
Gertrude (Mrs. John Turple) and Annie (Mrs. Walter Turple) Central Cariboo.
There are also 30 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at the home of Mrs. Turple
with Rev. L.R. Bent officiating. Later the remains were taken
to Port Bickerton where a service was held at the church there.
