Mrs Charlotte Peart, Tor Bay , June 7 -
There passed away at St Martha's Hospital, Antigonish, on May 30,
Mrs Charlotte Peart, wife of the late William Peart, in her eighty-ninth year.
The late Mrs Peart was active until a few days prior to her passing.
She leaves to mourn, one daughter Margaret (Mrs Angus Gammon);
one son Archibald, both of this place.
A daughter, Delsey (Mrs Joseph Webber), Drum Head,
predeceased her a year ago. Also surviving are sixteen grand-children,
twenty-two great grand children, and three great great grandchildren.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev Douglas Sherren,
Guysboro, from the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd,
of which she was a faithful member. Interment in Tor Bay Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Sterling Grover, Phillip Wedder (sic),
Covert Gammon, John Webber, Harold Webber, Tor Bay;
and Leonard Grover of Cole Harbour.
