Born in Sherbrooke, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Arabelle (MacDonald) Smith. Surviving are her husband, Dave; son, Garth, Blue Mountain; stepson, Jimmie, Ottawa; daughters, Patricia (Mrs. Sherman Wilson), Kathy (Mrs. Sidney Joe), Sherbrooke; Georgina, Ottawa; Ann (Mrs. David Clifford), trenton, Angie (Mrs. Michael Walters), Eastern Passage; sister, Georgina (Mrs. George Bennett), Halifax; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant son, James; brothers, Gerald, douglas, William Murray, Reginald, Bruce; sisters, Carrie, Freda; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren. Funeral 3 p.m. today in St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Sherbrooke, Rev. Bedford Doucette officiating. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Stillwater. Donations to St. Mary’s Hospital, Sherbrooke. Arrangements entrusted to Ecum Secum Funeral Home.
