HAYNE, Greta Frances - 62, Country Harbour Mines, Guysborough County,
died Saturday in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Country Harbour,
she was a daughter of Gertrude (Mason), Country Harbour and the late Malcolm Mason.
She was a member of Goshen Gospel Church and
worked as a bookkeeper in the family pulpwood and trucking business.
She is survived by her husband, Francis (Brud);
six sons, Eugene, Eric, Allan, David, Danny, all of Country Harbour;
and Bradley at home;
four daughters, Ruth (Mrs. Bryant Long) Giant's lake, Guysborough County;
Carol (Mrs. Clifton Sangster) Indian Harbour Lake, Guysborough County;
Marla (Mrs. Colin macLean) Lower South River, Antigonish County;
Tracy, at home;
three sisters, Vera (Mrs. Merritt Feltmate) Goshen;
Shirley (Mrs. Harley Mills) Burlington, Ont.;
Maxine (Mrs. Robert White) Country Harbour;
four brothers, Victor, Wesley, Earl, all of Goshen;
Edgar, Brantford, Ont.;
20 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Edgar; a granddaughter, Janna Leigh Hayne.
The body is in the family residence, Country Harbour.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. today in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour.
Burial in Church Cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Martha's Hospital Memorial Fund.
