ROSIE GIBSON, 83, of Park Haven Estates,
died Friday in Park Haven Estates.
Born in Tracadie, Guysborough County,
she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Eliza (Paris) Day.
She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary
and lived most of her life in Halifax.
Surviving are a sister Melinda (Day) Williams, Halifax;
a brother Gordon, New Glasgow.
She was predeceased by her husband, Danny;
three sisters, Lillian, Margaret and Gertie;
three brothers, Silas, George and William.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today in Cornwallis Street Baptist Church,
Dr. J.C. Mack officiating, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
