He was a steel worker and a member of
Saint Francis Harbour Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Marjorie MacGillivray,
Port Hawkesbury; 2 daughters, Helen (Mrs. Edward MacEachren),
Dartmouth; Joni (Mrs. Sam Carr), St. Francis Harbour,
a son Donnie, Fort McMurray, Alta; 3 sisters,
Nellie (Mrs. Peter Horitchie) Hamilton, Elsie (Mrs. Frank Johnson)
Las Vegas, Nev; Arletta (Mrs. Sheman Pettipas) St. Francis Harbour;
2 brothers, Charles, Neil, both of Hamilton.
He was predeceased by a son, Jimmy; a sister, Mary.
The body is in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury,
visiting 2 – 9 pm today. Funeral will be
10 am. Saturday in St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Bernard MacAdam officiating.
Burial in Parish Cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Francis memorial Fund.
