WILLIAMS, Richard Gordon "Ricky" -- 52, of Auld's Cove, Guysborough Co.,
passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at home.

Born in Picton Ont., he was a son of Iona (Wickett)
and the late Gerald Williams of Auld's Cove.

He was employed with BST Lobster Sales Ltd.
Ricky was an avid sports fan, cheering on his Toronto Maple Leafs,
and his favorite Nascar drivers no. 3, no. 8, and no. 88.
He would often be heard laughing and saying "What's up?".

Surviving are his children Gordon (Shannon Powers), Edmonton, Alta.;
Eric, Port Hawkesbury; grandchildren Brooklyn, Keegan, Ethan;
brothers, Randy (Carol Brophy), Mulgrave; Michael and Gary, both of Auld's Cove;
sisters, Gail (Allan) Anderson, Auld's Cove; Rhonda (Albert Green), Bayfield;
Sherry (Bernie Chisholm), Auld's Cove; Sharon (Charlie) Warner, Steep Creek;
grandmother, Florence Wickett, Picton, Ont.; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by grandparents Dorothy Williams and Laurier Dort, John and Violetta Williams,
and grandfather Gordon Wickett.

Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Sunday from the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury,
from where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday,
Rev. Susan Best officiating.
Burial at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia,
