Mrs. Roy Davidson
Stellarton - Mrs. Roy Davidson, Albion Road,
died at her home Saturday
following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Mulgrave 70 years ago,
a daughter of the late Edward
and
Mary Catherine(MacPhail) Peebles.
She was a longtime resident of this town
and was a member of Sharon St.
John United Church.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by six daughters:
Mary(Mrs. George MacLean),
Josie(Mrs. Arthur MacKay),
Agnes(Mrs. Robert White), and Diane(Mrs. John
MacKeigan);
all of Stellarton, Ruby(Mrs. Vincent Cioffi), Braintree, Mass.;
and Inez(Mrs. Joseph Murphy), Pembrooke, Mass.;
and three sons, Cpl. Eugene
B. Davidson, Brandon, Man.,
Reginald and Leonard, at home. Also surviving
are
a sister, Mrs. Josephine Smith, Bellerica, Mass.; 22 grandchildren
and
seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roy,
a son Thomas, two brothers and a
sister.
The remains were transferred from the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home
to her
late residence and the funeral will be held
Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Sharon
St. John United Church
with interment in Brookside cemetery.

spelling for Ruby's husband(Ciossi in father's obit and Cioffi in mother's
obit and Mary was predeceased by a son Thomas but not mentioned in Roy's
obit.)
