GLOUCESTER, Mass., Aug 12

David H. Jamieson, a fisherman out of this port,
until ill health caused him to retire three years ago,
died at his home, 4 Mount Vernon street,
Monday at the age of 56 years.

He was born at Guysboro, Nova Scotia,
the son of Hugh and Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Jamieson.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora B. (Hadley) Jamieson;
three sons, Horace, Worster, Mass.; Arthur, Amesbury, Mass.,
and Ralph, of this city; four grandchildren; two brothers,
John and Joseph of Hadleville, Nova Scotia;
three sisters, Jennie, wife of Christopher Gibbs; Ellen, widow of John Perry
and Anna, wife of Robert Carter, Hadleville.
He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
