MRS. JENNIE GEORGE

Mrs. Jennie (MacIntosh) George,
a resident of this city for nearly 70 years,
died early this morning at her home, 584 Bridge Street,
after an illness of two months, aged 84 years.
She was the widow of Frank C. George.
She was born in Smithfield, Nova Scotia,
the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Hattie) MacIntosh.
She is survived by two brothers,
George B. MacIntosh of Smithfield, Nova Scotia,
and William C. MacIntosh of Denver, Colo.;
and several nieces and nephews, among them,
George Love of Toledo, Ohio and Mrs. Etha Phillips of Richmond, Va.
She was one of the oldest members of the First Presbyterian Church
and in former years had been very active
in the Willing Hands society of that church.
