KAISER, Maude Rhoda - 84, High Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care,
formerly of Port Bickerton, Guysborough Co., and Antigonish,
died Thursday, October 21, 2004, in the home.
Born in River Hebert, Cumberland Co.,
she grew up in Sydney, Cape Breton. She was a daughter of the late
Frank and Georgina (Moore) Potter (England).
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother,
Maude's hobbies included sewing, knitting, quilting and crocheting.
She was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Bickerton,
and in earlier years had been a member of the Women's Institute.
She is survived by sons, Harold (Marie), Port Bickerton;
Dennis (Margaret), Westmount, Cape Breton; David (Brenda),
Sydney Mines; daughters, Cathy (Mrs. Paul Archibald), Glenelg;
Dana Kaiser (Sam Moon), Dartmouth; grandchildren, Heather, Estelle,
Tammy, Angela, Andrew, Shelley, Christopher (Mary),
Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Melissa, Brandon, Ayslyan,
Donavan; several nieces and nephews; sister, Nellie Fields (Norman),
Elliott Lake, Ont. She was predeceased by husband, Harold Havelock Kaiser;
brothers, Bill and Clifford Potter, and sister, Dorothy MacDonald.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.,
with funeral service Monday at 2 p.m., both in St. Paul's Anglican Church,
Port Bickerton, Rev. Sandy Murray officiating. Burial in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery.
Family flowers only by request.
Memorial donations may be made to IWK Children's Hospital.
