DUNMORE - Gertrude Hannah Smith, 93,
of Dunmore, Antigonish County, and formerly of Country Harbour,
died Tuesday in St. Martha's Hospital.

Born in Country Harbour, she was a daughter of
the late John and Mary (Fenton) Hudson.

She is survived by eight daughters, Edith (Mrs. Adam Halliday),
Hopewell; Mamie, Dunmore; Flossie (Mrs. Donald Forbes),
Summerside, P.E.I.; Nettie (Mrs. Mildred Harding), Rita
(Mrs. Alexander MacIsaac) and Winona (Mrs. Donald Buchan), all of Guelph, Ont.;
Aileen (Mrs. James Boyd), Edmonton; Rosena (Mrs. Anthony Wallace),
Merlin; a son Wylie, Dunmore; 44 grandchildren,
54 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
She was predeceased by her husband Harvey, three sons,
Wilfred, Howard and Frank,
three daughters, Hilda, Claudine, and Helen, two brothers
Russell and David, and a sister Sarah.

The body will be in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Country Harbour,
after 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday,
Rev. K. Hamlin officiating, with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peoples Gosple Hour.
