Stellarton Woman Dies

Stellarton - Mrs. Louise Margaret Fraser,
wife of Marvin Fraser, Stellar St.,
died at the Halifax Infirmary on Saturday.

Born at St. Francis Harbour 63 years ago,
and she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Esther(MacKay) Grant.

In her early years she had resided at Merigomish
where she had been active in community affairs
and since 1949 she had been a resident of this town.

Mrs. Fraser was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons;
John, New Glasgow; Whitney, Yellowknife; by six daughters;
Esther(Mrs. Ernest Munro), Stellarton; Marvinea(Mrs. Hans Voss), Dartmouth;
Sarah(Mrs.William Barnett), North Carolina; Thelma(Mrs. Neil Campbell),
Moncton;Helen and Linda at home; 18 grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.

She is also survived by seven brothers; Francis, Will and George,
all of St. Francis Harbour; Albert, Sydney;
Joseph, New Brunswick; and John, Merigomish; three sisters,
Bessie(Mrs. Thomas Kelly), Toronto; Marcella(Mrs. E.C. Patterson),
Stellarton, and Maude, Ontario.

The remains are resting at the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home,
Acadia Ave., and the funeral will be held
on Tuesday at 2pm from First Presbyterian Church.
Interment will be in the Merigomish cemetery.
