Preparing for California Dreamin' 1998
For important events, I have been visiting a local salon to have my hair and makeup done. These are some pictures of my "transformation" on April 30, 1998, the opening day of the California Dreamin' conference in San Francisco.
California Dreamin' Days 2 and 3
For the second and third days of the California Dreamin' conference I did my own hair and makeup. On both of these days I had another unrelated conference to attend in the evening, so I had to redo myself each day before leaving the conference hotel. I didn't get any pictures of the second day, when I wore a purple sweater and purple and green plaid skirt. The pictures below are from the third day, when I wore a peach dress which I had purchased for the occasion.
