Vincent celebrates his Birthday on June 7.
A Young Homeless Kitten Finds His Home at Last
He was born in 1990.
Vincent is a firey little orange cat with a heart of gold =^..^=
Vincent started his life on the streets and is the only known survivor from his family.
He was homeless for the first six months of his life and in very poor health. When we finally
managed to catch him and get him to a vet he was very sick. He had HUGE worms, ear
mites, and a cold. He was very malnutritioned and bloated. He would not have survived the Winter.
About three weeks later he was healthy enough to introduce into our cat household. He was
accepted, but he was a very naughty cat about 23 hours a day. He was "The Cat From Hell'!
He was always in trouble, into something, or somewhere he wasn't supposed to be. He
was also a very quick thief. He would run through the room and steal things from you!
Puzzle pieces, rocks, food, anything he could pick up. We figured this habit developed because he
had to steal food to survive before he moved in. Vincent astonished us which an amazing
personality change. We brought Morpheus home when he was about 4 weeks old and Vincent tried to steal him!
At first we objected until we realized what was going on.... Vincent adopted Morpheus and was now a proud
father. He stopped trying to steal him and started taking care of him. Then suddenly he had a second kitten.
Kuma's arrival was greeted by a very eager dad-cat wanting to check her out. He took very good care of his
kittens and they are still extremely close. The once scared and wild Vincent is now a very sweet and
loving little guy. He hardly ever gets in trouble. Vincent has cared for all our kittens and is the best dad-cat ever!
Happy Cat
