Pouncequick Roofshadow was a pound kitten on death row He picked us to go home with
on that fateful day =^..^=
Pounce had obviously been through some hard times by the time we met him. The tip of his
tail was broken, he had horrible ear mites and he was SOOOOOO hungry. I remember when
we fed him he ate so fast that you could feel the whole crunchies in his stomach. He was a HUGE
kitten. Our vet disagreeded with us when we took him in for neutering. They insisted that he was
2 - 4 weeks older than we thought. After the surgery they told us we were right...he's just HUGE.
He grew and grew and currently weighs between 18 and 20 pounds. Pounce needed ALOT of
extra attention and support. It took us months, but he learned to let us touch his tail. He still is kinda
insecure and gets jealous now and then. He can be a real problem-cat and has been our biggest
challenge. Even though he can be VERY bad he has another side... we call him "the
love lug". He'll go between us loving and loving... all you have to do is make eye contact and
he comes running. Pounce and Anastasia grew up together and even though she's only 8 pounds
she still kicks his butt.
Anastasia and Pounce only have a little over a month between their Birthdays. Pounce was a huge kitten and got very depressed when he couldn't fit in things that his little sister could
