Lenny won a grammy!!! He won best male rock vocal performance for "American Women!! He beat out, Chris Cornell, Everlast, Bruce Springsteen, and Tom Waits. GO LENNY GO!!!

LENNY IS NOMINATED FOR A GRAMMY!!! It doesn't get any better than this!! Best Male rock vocal for American Woman. So you can tune in on Febuary 23 to see if he wins!! He is also Christina Aguilera's #1 "What A Girl Wants" video. YAY LENNY!!! That is almost as good as the Grammy!! Another piece of news, Lenny made the top 100 videos ever made, aired on MTV. Lenny is the most fashionable male of the year!! This is what VH1 thinks atleast. He is also nominated for AMA's favorite pop male perfomer, this show will broadcast on January 17, so tune in and check it out. And it's really ironic seeing that he is not a POP SINGER!!!
Lenny will perform on the GQ men of the year awards. This will premiere on Saturday October 30 at 7:00 and will re-air @ 2:00 on Sunday October 31, both on VH1.
Lenny is appearing on VH1 story tellers this sunday night at 10:00, so get your tapes ready or be sure to tune in!! Also, Lenny will appear in the concert of the century on VH1 on Saturday at 4:00. Okay, Okay, so he didn't win, but really, what is a video music award anyways? He doesn't need any award to prove that he makes good videos!! We know he does!! and even more important, he makes good music!! In other news, Lenny's freedom tour is a huge success across the US!!
~Lenny is nominated for Best Male Video and Best Rock Video in the up coming MTV Video Award on September 9, 1999. Both nominations are for "Fly Away." Keep your fingers crossed for him!! Also Lenny has a VH-1 story tellers special coming out in September/October which was recorded in August. Keep and eye out for that as well!!
~Lenny is going on Tour again!!!! His recently announced tour is called the "Freedom Tour." He is coming to Boston on September 12 at the Worcester Centrum Center. ~The newest video "American Woman" is soon to be followed up by two new videos for "Live" and "Black Velveteen." He was said to be filming them back in April, ever since then there has been nothing heard from them. Mainly because of the large success of "American Woman." So, expect the two new videos to be released real soon.
