Matching Tattoo's A No-Go for Brit & Justin

from People:Britney Spears has been banned from having a tattoo on her bottom. The pop princess and her 'N Sync singer boyfriend Justin Timberlake wanted matching pictures of red hearts bordered with their names tattooed on their backsides. They even made it as far as a Los Angeles tattoo parlour. But as the work was about to start, an adviser rang her on her mobile and talked her into postponing it till she could give it more thought.

NSYNC Breaking BET Ground
On 106 & Park today *NSYNC made history by becoming the first all white group to be added to the rotation on BET. Of course you may already know that BET (Black Entertainment Television) plays only Urban Contemporary music (R&B/Hip Hop) and supports mostly black artist (about 95%). In fact, the only other white artist to get a lot of support from BET is (sadly) Eminem and that's mostly because Dr. Dre is his producer and has helped him a lot. The great thing about *NSYNC making it on BET is that they made it on their own without the help of a black artist and has expanded their fan base into another culture. The viewers (mostly black) of BET had been requesting that *NSYNC and Christina Aguilera be added to the video rotation for a long time now and now we finally get them. Though Christina is being put on because of "Lady Marmalade" which features R&B act Mya and Hip Hop act 'Lil Kim, her fan base has also spread over into another culture. That's just one reason why she performed at the first annual BET awards this past Tuesday. And I must also add that the 106 & Park's audience was the loudest it's ever been when *NSYNC was there. I have never herd it so loud and I watch the show a lot. So I have a message and a little mission for all the *NSYNC fans out there. *NSYNC is at number one on TRL, right. Wouldn't it be cool if they where number one on 106 & Park. That would mean they'll be number one on two popular request shows. Now this is not a mission impossible task. This can easily happen because there will be regular BET viewers voting for them too. Help support *NSYNC and keep POP alive by voting on both networks. You can vote at bet.com just like you would for TRL. So please past this message on to the rest of the *NSYNC world that they need to support their favorite boy band... ohh sorry, favorite Ground Breaking boy band by making them number one on two major music networks. P.S. My sister and I almost past out when we watched "Pop" being played on BET. That's something we never thought we'd see. I'm very proud of those boys.
Justin in People magazine "Style Watch"
Just incase ya didn't know, Justin is in this weeks PEOPLE magazine. He didn't make "America's Top 50 Bachelors," but he was on page 152 in "Style Watch." Cross Michael Jackson with "Easy Rider" and you'll get Hollywood's latest obsession, Dolce and Babbana's slim-waisted motorcycle jacket. Madonna, Usher, Justin Timberlake and Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham all turned up in recent weeks in the tricolor leather looker, which sells for around $1,300. "It's comfortable but glamorous," says a D&G rep. Not to mention ultra-cool. "I liked it immediatly," says Usher. "When I wear it I feel like Speed Racer." (There is also a picture of Justin wearing it.)
Bloodhound Gang To Possibly Feature *NSYNC on Next LP
from Rolling STone: With the dust having settled on the picket signs, the Bloodhound Gang are gearing up to stir the pot once more with the follow-up to 2000's Hooray for Boobies. The Gang, whose naughty rhymes and videos raised the ire of women's groups, gay rights groups and Asian-American groups, are preparing to converge on frontman Jimmy Pop's home studio in Philadelphia to record its fourth studio album. So far they've penned six songs -- including one called "Fox Trot Uniform Charlie Kilo" -- for the album, which is due out on Interscope by the end of the year. The band plans to tour in 2002.     "Everyone used 'Millennium' and that didn't leave us with much," Pop quips of the album so far lacking a title. " Robbie [Williams] and the Backstreet Boys used it, and 'Chocolate Starfish' was taken. There's nothing left. We'll have to think of something."     According to Pop, 'N Sync are likely to make a guest appearance on the effort. The two groups formed a friendship after meeting at a Bloodhound Gang show last year. "We went down to their show here in Philadelphia last week," he says. "They're just really cool guys. I would rather spend time with those guys than most of the bands out there just, because they are so down to earth."
