"Hi!" Téa stood at the door. Now she was finally here she felt absurdly shy and tongue-tied. That didn't last long though.

"What took you so long? I've been waiting and waiting. I was just about to leave." Todd said. He indicated his luggage at the foot of the stairway. "I have my bags packed, car gassed up and everything."

"Well don't let me keep you. I had things I had to do. You're not my whole life you know. What? You were leaving? Giving up on me? Well maybe I should go then? Maybe I shouldn't have come at all. After all you're the one who left me!"

"Well you told me to go. So I left. What do you mean things you had to do? Don't you mean people you had to do? Like that imbecilic cop Sykes?"

"Not one word about any choices I made since you left me Manning! Not one word!" She stepped past him and into the foyer with her head held high, eyes blazing. Todd smiled broadly in delight behind her back yet managed to return her gaze innocently enough when she turned to look at him again. His admiration for her fire got the better of him though and his smile broke out again, his delight at seeing her again written plainly all over his face.

"OK. Deal!" He conceded. "I'm glad you're here. I missed you. What do you think of our house? I know you're gonna like it here…"

"Whoa! Our house?"

"Yeah. The house I built for us. For you and me and for Starr and for our kids, yours and mine".

"Oh". She brushed her hair back nervously and she heard Todd expel a huge breath. His hand reached out and took hers from her hair and reverently touched her ring finger, his eyes asking a question that hers immediately answered. "Yeah. We're still married."

"Well I knew that." He explained patiently. "I mean I knew we were married. I just didn't know if it was still legal on paper or not. You and me, we belong to each other Delgado. Come here." The final phrase was spoken softly, yet insistently as he pulled her toward him. She leaned eagerly into him and his mouth claimed hers in a passionate kiss. Her lips parted and she felt his tongue tasting her while his arms drew her tightly against him meshing her body against his. To her astonishment he trembled as he caressed her and he whispered her name. She murmured her pleasure at the feelings he aroused in her and she felt the evidence of his similar excitement pulsing through the fabric of his pants. Remembering the vision (dream?) she had in the crazy scientist's box she shivered in delighted anticipation.

"No more games. Choose. Go. Or stay." Breathing heavily, his eyes glowing, he stepped back and offered her his hand. "Come with me".

He touched her cheek lightly. "You cut your hair."

"So did you."

"That you'll hurt me again. Run off again. Leave me." Truth be told if she hadn't seen how things could be in their future she'd be running like hell she thought. "But I want to be here. My life is so empty without you, like it was before I met you." She drew in a deep breath and made her decision. "So I am choosing you. Choosing you and me again. God help me. I have no choice really. You're what I want and what I need to be happy."

"I told you that once too, remember? I meant it then too. Now no more talking. We'll do the words sometime, I promise. But not now".

"OK". She said and stepped closer to him. He opened his arms and she leaned her head on his chest savoring the feel of his body against hers and the sweet rush of heat that suffused her. He put his hand under her chin and tilted it up so that their lips met. For long minutes they kissed tenderly, hungrily not able to get enough of each other. At last she twisted in his arms and admired this room. This is OUR BEDROOM she thought. Everything was perfect, so absolutely RIGHT.

From behind Todd's hands cupped her breasts through the fabric of her blouse, his touches sending waves of contentment coursing through her body and she turned to face him once more…He backed towards the bed and sat down there as she stood before him. His fingers undid her buttons revealing a white lacy bra.
