Why can't we live forever
'mongst our family and our friends
happily, in peacefulness
never knowing where life ends?

The answer is that's not the way
the plan was laid above
In this life there must be sorrow
so we appreciate the love

And somewhere in the next world
far beyond the endless sky
you'll be met by your sweet Bud
nevermore to say good bye
