My bio

I have brown hair and brown eyes. I am about 6 feet tall (give or take a centimeter or two). My birthday is on February 1, 1981. That currently makes me 21 years old.
I currently live in the Bay Area of California. I have lived in the Bay Area my whole life. I have begun my fourth year at a local community college. After I am finished with my general education requirements (which won't be very soon, thanks to the crappy counseling staff), I plan to transfer to San Jose State to major in computer sciences.
This site was actually an assignment for a high school class that I took a while back. It is called Virtual High School. The program was one of the first to offer online classes, let alone to high school students. There are currently many more courses available than when I was enrolled. Kids from all over the United States can take these courses as long as their schools are participating in this program. I was part of the pilot program when it first came out. It was fun, but have come to find that most internet courses are more difficult to take because I need that additional visual stimulus to get me going (besides, tests are next to impossible to take).
I listen to rap, hip-hop, rock, and house mostly, but I like to listen to other types of music. My favorite radio station is Wild 94.9 FM. This station is local to most of the Bay Area in California and it also broadcasts their signal online. Here is their website.
I worked for two long years at McDonald's. I got extremely sick of the food and I found a job at Albertson's. Albertson's is a huge grocery store chain. They took over other stores like Lucky, Sav-On, Pack-n-Save -- so chances are that you have one near you. I went from being a courtesy clerk, to being a cashier (with higher pay), and then part of the night crew. They switched me over to night crew because business was slowing down. I had to work the graveyard shift (when the store was closed to customers). And then they decided to lay me off. It's okay though because I was able to focus on my education more, and I still got paid unemployment. But now I am back to working and getting paid. I recently was transferred to the store I first got hired at. It is a lot closer to home and beats having to drive at least half an hour to get to work. Over the almost 3 years I have been working for Albertson's, I have worked in 5 different stores in the Bay Area.
Well, I have a car, and even though it is a little over 2 years old, I still call it a new car. I got it brand new a little over two years ago (May 20 was its birthday). It is a 2000 Honda Civic DX Coupe. It is dark green in color with air conditioning and an automatic transmission. The only other things I have done to it was put tint on the windows and "hyper-white" bulbs in the headlamps.
