The Welcome Dinner
We had our welcome dinner at Kabul restaurant, a wonderful Curtis family favorite that serves delicious Afghani food. Several key people couldn't make it that night, but we enjoyed ourselves!
Making Head Wreaths
The day before the wedding, Sarah, Kelly, and Gwynne went bright and early to the San Francisco flower market to buy flowers for the maids to make floral head wreaths. We then took all the beautiful flowers to Nueva School and had the maids gather in the Art Room to make their headpieces. It was a great time to get together before "the big day" and to for the girls to bond with Sarah, whom they had just met the day before.
Mitchell and his Attendants
Graham and Paul Toben gave us the honor of their assistance as Mitchell's attendants for the day. Both are wonderful young men who have known Gwynne practically their whole lives. Don't they make a handsome group?

During the ceremony, the maids listen intently to the Bard, Ray Clark Dickson, as he welcomes the guests to the circle.
