How I Got Into Disco
One Saturday night a few years ago, I went to a Thai restaurant with my girlfriend (now my fiancee, we should have been married a long time ago but I won't get into that), and the radio there was tuned to this station that was playing disco songs. After we left the restaurant, I tuned the car radio to that station (which hosts a disco show every Saturday night), and I've been hooked ever since. I may be latecomer when comes to disco, but you know the old expression: better late than never.
As it turns out, I'm not alone in my love for disco. A few years later, I found a really nice community of disco lovers at this website called discomusic.com (thanks, Bernie). Not only did I meet some really cool people there, but I discovered that there's more to disco than just the hits. I don't care what some people think. Disco is cool.
I admit that this website is not a disco encyclopedia. It was never meant to be that. It's simply my way of telling the world that I'm a disco fan, and I'm proud of it.
