What if, we didn't belong to another
what if, we met and soon discover,
that we were meant to be
That it was supposed to be you and me.

What if, I lived a little closer
what if, there was no distance between us
what if, we were in another place and time
do you think that you would be mine?

What if, I told you I loved you
what if, I told you I've missed us
what if, I said I need you
do you think we'd be together now?

what if, I didn't back away
and hide these feelings inside.
what if, I told you I wanted to feel your kiss
and show you these feelings that I hide

What ifs," can't change the past"
what ifs, " can't change the facts."
I've held you so many times
I know these what ifs weren't all in my mind.

what if......we were meant to be
at least you have a part of me
my heart will never grow cold
I'll love you till I'm old.
