Album Review:

Born To Run is an essential part of any Bruce Springsteen collection.  It represents his first studio album, and a breakthrough into stardom.  The story behind each song is different, but it appears to about and certainly relates to a teenager in the city.  Even though the characters don't necessarily have much to live for, their is a message of hope in htis album.  A chance to leave the city and their troubles behind for brighter skies, but there is much more here.  The songs "Thunder Road" and "Born To Run" are considered Rock Standards, and both songs are worthy of that status.  This album is superb, and went gold, launching the start to what would be an incredible career by Bruce Springsteen.  This album, even though it isn't his best, many of his fans keep it as their favorite.  Its theme and the music contained in this album make it worth purchasing to anyone remotely interested in either Bruce Springsteen and his music or life in the city.
