PEACE NOT WAR - New Democrats will have a strong presence at a march for peace and a rally against the war with Iraq. NDP Leader Howard Hampton, deputy leader Marilyn Churley and a host of peace activists will gather outside Toronto City Hall for a rally at noon. Then they will march with thousands of others to U of T's Convocation Hall, where Hampton will speak as will federal NDP Leader Alexa McDonough and other prominent guests.

HEALTHY PROTEST - A new British study says protesting may be good for your health. Research from Dr. John Drury suggests that taking part in campaigns, demonstrations, strikes or protests may help improve psychological and physical health. "The take-home message from this research therefore might be that people should get more involved in campaigns, struggles and social movements, not only in the wider interest of social change but also for their own personal good," he is quoted as saying.
