STORY HOUR

Detest reading; shortcut to simple guidelines This event/contest, in its simplest form, is an hour for telling stories of all kinds. Story Hour is a monthly event held every second Tuesday at 2 PM VZT (this contest is indefinitely postponed). If possible, three anonymous avatars will be chosen to judge the story entries. Each month the anonymous judges will alternate. The judges could be avatar community members or Guides, etc. The prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third. Occasionally, the event might carry a theme, such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, or a Special Event theme, etc. For certain events you are encouraged to follow the theme, but it is not compulsory. The point of this event/contest is to enjoy the literary talent and/or humour of our fellow avatars. Please contribute your creative and inspirational stories.

Due to real world obligations Story Hour will not be held on a monthly basis, until further notice.
Currently, I have chosen to host Story Hour for Special Events only.

Helpful Guidelines:

There is only one entry to be submitted per avatar/RW person per contest.

The story can be an original or written by someone else. This is optional.

Entries can be a myth, legend, ghost and/or love story, or just a story in general.

Please respect others with regard to the use of profanity, explicit content, etc.

It should not be more than five short, precise paragraphs (please limit the length, with respect to other entries, as time is of the essence).
