You have certainly been missed by many. I would love to see specials
or
even re-runs on PBS or the Food Network. There isn't another
chef/author
like you and I know any project would be welcome to all your friends
waiting
to "see" you again.
I started watching your show in the early 80's and have collected your
cookbooks. I found I could read them as a history as well as
to search for
recipes. How refreshing!! My prized cookbook is one I purchased
during a
local PBS fundraising auction. I paid $76 for an autographed
hardcover
copy of The 3 ancient cuisines. My husband wasn't too happy about
me paying
that much for a book I already owned and that retailed for less than
half
that amount!!
