Jeff, Thank you for all of the great lessons in
food and history. I too believe that the two are interlinked.
I have taught history for 30 years now and realized that we have shared
our
love of food and fact for about that many years too.
I was raised in Burien and met up with a childhhod chum from there I hadn't
seen in over twenty years the other day over a picnic
lunch at a dog show at St. Martins College. I have
lived in Oregon for most of my adult life...My friend served the best salmon
cheeseball spread and it turned out that you were with
us because the recipe was yours(Now ours) Delicious!!!
We have all of your books. I too bid you peace and joy. We
