Dear Mr. Smith,
Years ago your series was broadcast on TV in Japan. My toddler daughter
referred to you as the "Cooking Grandpa", while I hurridly copied many
of your recipes to try -- the ingredients were easily obtainable, real
food!
Later I received an autographed copy of the American Food Cook book,
which is treasured among the copies of all of your books, including
the
"Christmas" book.
Is it possible that you will in the future return to TV and/or writing
new cookbooks? I had hoped that you would begin incorporating
more
foods from South and Central America as well as Africa.
Your books are the source of many of my family's favorites.
You are sorely missed.
