"Saradim!!"
"Yes?"
"What just happened?!"
"Simple. Ryan attacked and you saved your friends."
"But you didn't tell me about the sharp stuff! I didn't know I was gonna have to fight him with a machete! I didn't even know I had a machete!"
"Well you never asked. I just gave you the basics." I started to say something else to my reserved trainer but my warning system went off in me. "Go, child! Your friends are at stake!"
'Here we go again,' I thought.

"Heads up!" CRASH! I called out just in time to for everyone to get out of the way of the falling light rack. Above us we could see the attempted murderer in the rafters. Then we saw blue. "I'M BACK!"
"Oh no."
"Oh yes and this time we're gonna have some fun! Time for a little magic." The ninja's hands started glowing blue as it raised them up. The light from both hands combined to make one big ball. Then it shot straight at the crazed killer. He flew back and hit the wall with such force it made an imprint of his body. How he survived is a mystery. Slowly, he slid to the ground.
"Now, are you going to tell me why you want to hurt these people?"
"I already did! They killed the light of my life!"
"No that guy just got lethal injection last night."
"I don't care what you say! That drunk may have hit her, but if she hadn't been in pain, she wouldn't have run out in front of it!" I was starting to wonder about this guy. What did he know that we didn't?
"What pain are you talking about?"
"The emotional pain! The pain of having to choose, of losing a friend, of having that friend slam the door in her face! That last one made her run into the street! And he was the one that slammed the door!" He was pointing straight at Brain.
"No! It was an accident! I didn't mean to!"
"But you did! And now because of it, Kat isdead! And I will have my revenge!" And once more he fled.

The ninja sighed and hung its head. "Wait! Don't go!" This had gone on long enough. I wanted answers. "Ninja what's going on? Who is he? Who are you? What are you doing here?" It looked at me, its eyes piercing into mine like a hot knife through butter.
"His name is Ryan. He thinks that the death of Kat is your fault. He somehow found out about the pain in her heart and believes that is what killed her. I've been sent here to protect you and defeat Ryan."
I got up and went closer to it until I was right in front of it. "Was Kat's death my fault?"
Kat's View
His voice was barely above a whisper and his eyes were filling with tears. I held out my arms and wrapped him up in them. He began to cry and I started to softly stroke his hair. "It's not your fault, Brian. You know that, I know that and the One who sent me knows that. Kat's death is partly her own fault. She should have talked to you. If she had, she might still be alive." We sat there for a little bit longer, with me ignoring the fact that I could be discovered.

Finally it let me go and stood back as it prepared to go. "Wait. I have one more question." I looked it in the eye and said, "Who are you?"
"That is for me to know and you to find out." And with that it disappeared.
Nick's View
"NO! Ninja come back! Please! I need to know who you are! If you're Kat, I miss you! We all do! We want you back! Can't you see that? Please!" And with that Brian fell to his knees and began to do something he does rarely. He began to cry. None of us could do anything but stand there. We didn't know what to do. We'd never seen him like this. Not even Kevin. Sure he cried major right before his surgery. But not like this. It was hard enough to watch. I can't imagine how it felt. But he did.
"Rrrrraaaaggghhh!" BOOM! He pounded his fists into the remaining stage floor as hard as he could. And all we could do is stand there and watch in total helplessness as my best friend of nine years cried until there was nothing left for him to cry.
