Chapter 8

"Okay. See ya in a couple of hours. You are gonna meet us at the airport right. Yeah. Okay. See ya soon. Bye," Brian hung up the phone.

"So are they gonna meet us there or not?" Nick asked.

"Yeah they are, but AJ said the fans have spotted him and Howie everytime they have left the hotel, so Kevin is gonna have to tell Lisa about the Backstreet thing before we leave for the airport. So she'll know what to expect."

"You're right Frick. Let's go talk to him."

"Talk to me about what?" Kevin asked entering the living room.

"About you Kev. I just got off the phone with AJ and he said the fans keep spotting them so she will have to know what to expect. But you'll have to hurry up and explain cause we have a plane to catch in 45 minutes," Brian said.

"Okay. I have an idea on how to tell her. Go get the homecoming concert and put it in. Then do you guys mind helping out by sitting around while I tell her?" They nodded. "Okay then. I'll go get her. You get the movie and sit down. I'll be down in a minute." He walked upstairs. "Lisa could you come downstairs? I need to show you something."

"Okay. But what do you want to show me?" she asked curiously.

"Something that I hope you aren't mad at me about. I mean I was so happy that someone liked me for who I am and not what I am that I kept it a secret. So come on and I'll show you."

They walked downstairs. Brian and Nick were already sitting on the couch.

Kevin motioned for her to sit down. She did as she was told and Kevin turned on the movie. First she seen an arena full of screaming people, mostly teenagers. So she realized that it was a concert. "Why does he want me to watch a concert?" she thought. Just then she saw 5 very familiar faces.

"Oh my god. That is you guys!" she exclaimed.

"Yep," Brian said.

"Is that how you guys know each other? Man. And is that how full your concerts usually are? Why didn't you guys tell me?" She had so many questions, but she was so happy for the guys. She had heard them goofing off and sing and thought they were pretty good, but never did she think they were professional singers.

"We never said anything," Kevin said quietly, "because it was nice to have someone like us as people and not as singers."

"Well guys, hate to tell ya, but I'm still gonna treat you the same way as I always have," she laughed.

"I'm so glad you aren't mad. And that you are gonna treat us the same. Oh by the way, I was gonna surprise you and just let you see it yourself, but guess who also is gonna be playing at the music festival?" Kevin asked with a huge smile on his face.

"Are you serious?"

"Yep."

"Yours truly. The one and only Backstreet Boys," Brian laughed.

"Hey, I guess we can let the girls know that Kevin finally told her," Nick said.

"You mean they knew?" Lisa asked wide eyed. "Why didn't they ever tell me?"

"Because I wanted to tell you," Kevin said.

"Guys I hate to burst your bubble, but we have to be at the airport in about 20 minutes or we are gonna miss the flight," Brian realized as he glanced at his watch.

"Let's boogie," Lisa said grabbing her suitcase and running out the door.

The guys followed her, luckily they had put their stuff in it the car. They were soon at the airport and on the plane with 2 minutes to spare.

"Lisa, I hate to say this but you are gonna have to tell Kevin sooner or later. Better sooner than later," Nick whispered as he sat down next to her.

"I know. I will soon, but I have no idea how to tell him," she whispered back.
