This was the first time Kevin had left her since he found that note.
"Babe, I'll be fine. And like you said Nick is right upstairs. If I need anything I'll wake him up. Ok? I'll be fine, I promise," she said and kissed him. "Brian take him now or he'll never leave," she laughed.
"C'mon Kev. She'll be fine and the sooner we leave the sooner we'll be back," Brian said trying to pull Kevin out the door.
Finally he walked out of the house, but something told him to stay behind.
Lisa shut the door behind them and was wondering why Kevin was acting so weird. She knew he was worried, but she thought he was being a litttle ridiculus.
"Okay," she thought," I know that my one episode probably scared him, but what does anyone expect? I seen the man that had been the one to drive me depression and had total control of me. But he had nothing to worry about. I haven't heard from him since he came over. And luckily Kev doesn't know that."
She was in the middle of her thoughts when the phone rang.
"Hello," she said.
But nothing could of prepared her for whose voice was at the other end of the phone.
"Hello Angelfire. Did you get my note? I wanted to give it to you in person but you were in the shower, so I had to put it on your bed."
"W-w-what note?" she said in a shaky whisper.
"I guess maybe pretty boy got it," Kyle laughed.
At the mention of Kevin anger took over her. "Damn it Kyle. Leave Kevin alone and leave me alone. Why can't you just go to hell?" she yelled, forgetting Nick was asleep upstairs.
Nick jumped from the bed and ran down the stairs.
"Lisa give me the phone."
She reluctantly handed it to him.
"I'm warning you Kyle. Stay away from her. Don't even think about her or you will seriously regret it," Nick bellowed into the receiver.
"You see, Nicky. I can't do that. We share a secret together, so I have to stick around to make sure she keeps it," and with that he hung up.
"Secret," Nick said aloud. He looked around trying to think. His eyes landed on Lisa who was curled up in a ball in the corner. He walked over and put a friendly arm around her. "Lis, he won't hurt you. Me and the guys are gonna make sure of it. I promise. But I do have to ask you what he meant by you two have a secret together and he had to stick around so you would keep it?" he asked quietly.
"Nick. Oh god. I have to tell someone. But I don't want you or anyone else in danger," she cried into his shoulder.
"Sssh. We'll all be safe and besides in a few days we are all gonna be in Kansas City. And you know how your security is when you guys are on tour. So there will be a ton of people around watching us. So see nothing to worry about. Now come on tell me so you will feel a little better."
