As she leaned down to kiss him again, he pulled her down with him, deepening the kiss. She was caught off guard, but welcomed it. Her hands began to roam his body. His hand when to her waist and he swiftly grabbed the blade. She never felt the movement at her hip. Brian slowly moved his hand to her neck and gently rested the kinfe against the flesh.
His lips let go of the lip he had been gently sucking on. "May I ask what are you are doing?"
Leiwa became aware of the dagger Brian held at her neck. "You're quick. What do you want?"
Brian ignored her last question and repeated, "What do you think you are doing?"
"Indulging you."
Brian realized the power he had at that moment and he decided to use it to his advantage. "Where's Nick?"
"In block 284, cell 82647," Lewia replied.
Although Brian had turned the tables on her, and now she was the prisoner, he couldn't help but ravish in her beauty. Although his body reacted to her, he couldn't will his mind to coincide with what his body wanted. Lewia saw the lust in his eyes, but she didn't dare move, for he could kill her with one swipe of his hand. She had been in similar positions, yet none of them had ever managed to hold the weapon so strongly without wavering.
Lewia decided to take another approach. She had seen his soft side and she thought it couldn't hurt to play on it. She let the fear show through in her emotionless eyes. She was used to holding her emotions in. She willed a tear to fall from her eye. It fell onto Brian's cheek. He looked up at her with caring eyes. Once again, his body wouldn't go with what his mind knew was right. Although he wanted to, he couldn't remove the knife from her neck.
He wanted to give into her, drop the knife and love her all night long, but his will wouldn't let him. It reminded him of all the pain the Royals had caused him in his past. In his cold hand, he held one of the Royals' leaders' life. Although his will wanted him to move the blade across her throat and make her suffer the pain he had endured so many years ago, he knew he didn't have the heart to do it.
Lewia saw his internal conflict in his eyes. She sucked in her breath, waiting for his decision; life or death.
