In early 1991 ICP who was then known as "Inner City Posse" was discovered in a local Roseville Record store called Hot Hits by the stores owner Alex Abbiss. After selling many copys Alex Asked the Group who then had three members if he could act as ICP's manager. From there Insane Clown Posse released a shot run EP caled "Dog Beats" on their own "Psychopathic Records". Then Insane Clown Posse calim to have been visited by what they call "The Dark Carnival". Violen J and Shaggy 2 Dope begain painting their faces like clowns and begain their journey to spread the word of the Dark Carnival through 6 Jokers card albums there were to release.
The Jokers cards have been just a few albums that have been released within a 12 year period of ICP's history. They claim when the 6th Jokers Card arrives the End will consume us all. We are now in the era of #5, "The Amazing Jeckal Brothers" . Insane Clown Posse founded the image of horrorcore's insane looks that leads otherbands to come out of the nooks and crannys of the underground to follow with more crazy music and apperances. As any horrorcore fan and they will tell you. ICP are the kings of hororcore. Look out for Insane Clown Posse's Double album to be released on Halloween called "Bizzare Bazzare".
