HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL

The movie begins in a scene when the hospital first opened in the 1930's. This graphic scene shows the insane doctor performing surgery on a person who is still wide awake. From there, the 'patients' in the hospital revolt, and kill the entire staff.

"If he didn't make it out, no one would".

When they revolted, the head doctor ordered lockdown and the entire hospital was sealed and everyone inside died, except for five people working there.

Between then and now, most of the hospital was redone and made to look like new.

This brings in Steven Price, the rich owner of a few theme parks. his wife sees a show on TV about the hospital and she decides to have her party there. She sends her husband a list, which he shreds and makes his own list of five people. That list is earsed and I new one is typed by an unseen force.

Everyone is invited, and brought into the house, where they are told that if they stay for the night, they will each receive 1 million dollars, plus the evenly divided share of the people who either die or leave.
The lockdown mechanism triggers and locks them in, all by itself. They sent out into the dark unrestored basement to find the main room for the lockdown. In what follows, some people die, others live. In the end, not only are they trying to survive against the angry ghots, but also the dark evil that lives within the very walls of the psychiatric hospital.

This movie had [probably] the best opening credit scene I have ever seen. Although the entire movie is a bit gory, it still has a good plot, story, and enough to be one of the best horror movies about a house I've ever seen. This movie makes up for the terrible movie, The Haunting [of hill house]
