Half-Life is not exactly horror movie, but it is the first in a series of horror based video games on this site.
Deep in the Black Mesa Research Facility, strange experiments are being conducted. Only members with the highest level of clearence have been down there, and some have never returned. Scientist are opening a portal to another world, and now scientists at the compound are rapidly becoming flesh-eating monsters (not zombies).
The main character, Gordon Freeman, only found out about this experiment, when everything went crazy and almosy everyone in the base tunred into a monster. Those who weren't possessed were quickly killed.
As if being attacked by security guards and monsters, the army has sent military death sqauds to wipe out any and everything they find. They kill aliens, and people to stop the country from finding out. The marines come in huge numbers and are armed with machine guns and grenades.
Now it is all up to one man to save what's left of the people in the complex, and to stop the invasion.
