Marlborough Forest Run

This was a run that was put togeather by some of us who use the Nissan list which you can subscribe to from the Nissan page at OFF-ROAD.com ( you can get there from my links page ). We thought it would be fun to get a few people togeather and run a local trail near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The forest is public park land and available to all, not to mention it has a few good trails of all but the most extreme levels

Here is the gang airing down befor hitting the trail. As you can see we had four Pathfinder's and two Toyota's along for the ride. The first PF is a '95 4dr XE with 31 x 10.5's, next is mine. An '88 2dr SE/V6 with 33 x 12.5's and then we have our first Toyota an '83FJ 80 I think I'm not sure but I think the tires were about 33 x 9. The fourth in our group to our surprise was a '97 Chillkoot. Considering it had all season tires and some spots were more than a bit wet it never got stuck. Another '95 4dr with a massive bumper and winch. And last but not least was a '95 Toyota pickup with 31 x 10.5's.

Playing in the mud

Although it had a stout bumper and winch it was never needed.

This is what most sections of the trail were like the weekend we visited. The stock Chilkoot had no problem and the Toyota... well it went through anything it's owner pointed it at.

Here is my Pathfinder doing the dirty thing and crossing one of the deeper sections of trail.
